A submarine is positioned in a dry dock or flooded dock facility, viewed from an elevated angle looking down the bow toward the stern. Two workers on an orange safety platform at the bow are operating a high-pressure water hose to clean the hull. The submarine's dark hull shows visible marine growth (algae/biofouling) along the waterline, indicating recent removal from active service.
