A New Zealand Defence Force (NZDF) range safety officer watches as U.S. Marines with the Ground Combat Element, Marine Rotational Force – Darwin (MRF-D), fire on Hufangalupe Range as part of Exercise Tafakula, Tonga, August 14, 2019. Tafakula is a multilateral exercise hosted by His Majesty’s Armed Forces of Tonga, which includes MRF-D Marines and service members from the New Caledonian Armed Forces, the NZDF, the Australian Army and the Nevada National Guard.
