Thomas, Commander, Task Force 70, departs the Ticonderoga-class guided-missile cruiser USS Chancellorsville (CG 62) on an MH-60S Sea Hawk assigned to the “Golden Falcons” of Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron 12 after a ship visit. Chancellorsville is forward-deployed to the U.S. 7th Fleet area of operations in support of security and stability in the Indo-Pacific region.
