190811-N-MU198-1284 PANAMA CITY, Panama (Aug. 11, 2019) Musician 2nd Class Spencer Shepard, from Birmingham, Ala., a member of the Fleet Forces Band assigned to the hospital ship USNS Comfort (T-AH 20), performs during a concert at a local park. Comfort is working with health and government partners in Central America, South America, and the Caribbean to provide care on the ship and at land-based medical sites, helping to relieve pressure on national medical systems strained by an increase in Venezuelan migrants.
