Mr. Heriberto Guerra, San Antonio Water System (SAWS), Board of Trustees, chairman, poses for a photo at the W-6 Sewer Line ground-breaking ceremony held at the Tribute To Freedom Monument, located near Hwy 90 and W. Military Drive, Aug. 7, 2019. SAWS and the Air Force are working cooperatively for the much needed infrastructure improvement in Military City USA. SAWS will tunnel 20,000+ linear feet over 100 feet below ground to avoid impeding traffic and critical military activities. The significant infrastructure upgrades to the sewer line will reduce overflows within the City of San Antonio and JBSA-Lackland. (U.S. Air Force Photo by Andrew C. Patterson)
