U.S. Army Sgt. Kipp Jones, 8-229th Assault Helicopter Battalion hazardous material ground maintenance inspector, helps unload contents from a U.S. Army UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter for inspection at Ali al Salem Air Base, Kuwait, Aug. 9, 2019. Service members assigned to the 386th Expeditionary Logistics Readiness Squadron and the 8-229th AHB conduct joint inspections of the Black Hawks to ensure they're airworthy to load onto U.S. Air Force C-17 Globemaster III aircraft where they'll undergo transport to a location within the U.S. Central Command area of responsibility.
