190809-N-EV253-0385 MINDELO, Cabo Verde (Aug. 9, 2019) - Chief Petty Officer Daniel Brooks, from Mission Viejo, California, a member of the U.S. Coast Guard Tactical Law Enforcement Detachment Pacific embarked aboard the Spearhead-class expeditionary fast transport ship USNS Carson City (T-EPF 7), exchanges best boarding practices with the Cabo Verde coast guard during a simulation aboard the Damen Stan Patrol 5009-class vessel Guardiao (P 511), in Mindelo, Cabo Verde, Aug. 9, 2019.
