Soldiers with the Ohio National Guard’s 1st Battalion, 174th Air Defense Artillery Regiment are greeted by their families at a welcome home ceremony Aug. 10, 2019, at the Landmark Church in Cincinnati. The Soldiers completed a successful deployment to the Washington, D.C. area where the 1-174th played a pivotal role in supporting the National Capitol Region-Integrated Air Defense System mission, providing personnel support to the ongoing homeland defense mission, which included the use of radar, ground-based air defense systems and communications equipment.
