Lt. Col. Denise M. Mull (left), Lt. Col. Kevin C. Trimble (middle), and Lt. Col. Adam L. Chalkley (right) meet to discuss counterinsurgency and combat logistics support operations at Forward Operating Base Whitehouse April 11. Mull’s battalion, Combat Logistics Battalion 2, will take over responsibilities as direct support battalion from Combat Logistics Battalion 4 later this year. Mull is the commanding officer of CLB-2, Combat Logistics Regiment 2, 2nd Marine Logistics Group, II Marine Expeditionary Force. Trimble is the battalion commander of 1st Battalion, 8th Marine Regiment, Regimental Combat Team 6. Chalkley is the battalion commander of CLB-4, 1st Marine Logistics Group (Forward), I Marine Expeditionary Force (Forward).
