Maj. Gen. Don Dunbar, Wisconsin’s adjutant general, addresses a team of Wisconsin National Guard Soldiers with the 173rd Brigade Engineer Battalion, 132nd Brigade Support Battalion, and 1st Battalion, 128th Infantry, to thank them for their support during a site-visit to Polk and Barron Counties, Aug. 7. Dunbar, joined by Darrell L. Williams, Ph.D., Administrator of the Division of Emergency Management in the Department of Military Affairs, expressed his appreciation for the Soldiers and Airmen mobilized to state active duty to assist civil authorities with damage assessment and debris clearance operations following the severe storms that swept through Northern Wisconsin July 19-20.
