Lt. Gen. Thomas D. Waldhauser, the commanding general of I Marine Expeditionary Force, winds up for the first pitch at a San Diego Padres game in San Diego, Calif., April 22. The Padres hosted the "Military Opening Day" based on military appreciation.
“The Padres give a lot of support to the military community,” Waldhauser said. “We’re very pleased with all the support that they give all the military and their families here in San Diego.”
