Tech. Sgt. Alan Woodall, 44th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron crew chief, examines an F119-PW-100 jet engine, April 19. Woodall was given the chance to see the way jet engines are tested firsthand because as a crew chief, he deals with jet engines on a daily basis. The F119-PW-100 jet engine is the primary propulsion system for the F-22 Raptor.
