U.S. Marine Lt. Col. Bruce Cupit, the executive officer of Special Purpose Marine Air-Ground Task Force – Southern Command, along with staff and guests from Escuela Vilma Yolanda Castillo Santos, a local grade school, reopen the school after renovations during a ribbon cutting ceremony in Trujillo, Honduras, Aug. 5, 2019. Marines and Sailors with the task force have been making improvements to the school, including new bathrooms, septic work, electrical work and new windows. The task force is conducting training and engineering projects alongside partner nation military forces in Central and South America. The unit is also on standby to provide humanitarian assistance and disaster relief in the event of a hurricane or other emergencies in the region. (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Sgt. Stanley Moy)
