A 249th Engineer Battalion (Alpha Company) 3rd Power Station Prime Power Specialist Staff Sgt. Jason Pallack reads over a training manual June 21,while conducting an assessment of the Honolulu District U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Emergency Operations Center. Pallack said first looking at the cam-lock fittings,he thought "Wow, these are neat, they look really easy" but after struggling with them for a few minutes and almost moving to a different method, he found the instruction manual and sailed through the process. "It's something that professionals and instructors and other more experienced folks say frequently: use the book, read the manufacturers literature, and follow the instructions," Pallack said.
