Capt. Jonathan Disbro from San Jose, Calif., will compete in the 2012 Warrior Games in Colorado Springs, Colo., April 30-May 5. Disbro, 40, is currently stationed aboard Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, Calif., and is a below-knee amputee. This is his third time competing in the games. Disbro also participated in the 2011 Paralympics National Championship and is the reigning Warrior Games Ultimate Champion.
More than 200 wounded, ill or injured service members from the Marine Corps, Navy, Air Force, Coast Guard and Special Operations Command are scheduled to compete in the Paralympic-style competition.
