190804-N-UA460-0240 SURABAYA, Indonesia (Aug. 4, 2019) – The Spearhead-class expeditionary fast transport USNS Fall River (T-EPF 4) departs the Port of Tanjung Perak to participate in the sea phase of Cooperation Afloat Readiness and Training (CARAT) 2019. This year marks the 25th iteration of CARAT, a multinational exercise designed to enhance U.S. and partner navies' abilities to operate together in response to traditional and non-traditional maritime security challenges in the Indo-Pacific region.
