Illinois National Guard Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear Enhanced Response Force Package (CERFP) held training and validation exercises at Muscatatuck Urban Training Center in southern Indiana. CERFP is an Air and Army National Guard joint unit responsible for Search and Extraction, Decontamination, and Medical Treatment of civilians and military personnel following a manmade or natural disaster. Members of the Search and Extraction Team pull a mock victim from under the rubble of a collapsed building.
