Army medic puts duty first during large marching event

Spc. Robert Williamson, soldier with the U.S. Army Health Clinic Stuttgart and participant in the 103rd edition of the International Four Days Marches Nijmegen, renders medical treatment to a photographer injured when he fell off his bicycle and hit the pavement face first while he was covering the event. Nijmegen, or Vierdaagse in Dutch, is the largest marching event in the world that occurred for four consecutive days July 16-19, 2019. Over 450 U.S. service members were among the nearly 6,000 military marchers, and more than 40,000 civilians from around the world who marched 100 miles in four days in and around the Dutch city of Nijmegen.
