The calves are wearing purple identification ear tags with visible numbers (485, 494, 498). They are reaching through the metal headlock-style feeding gate to access hay and feed in a trough below.
    A U.S. Army officer wearing Operational Camouflage Pattern (OCP) uniform is photographed outdoors at what appears to be a military training or operational site. The individual wears rank insignia on their cap consistent with a Captain (two vertical bars), and a shoulder patch identifiable as the U.S. Army First Army patch.
