U.S. Marines drag out a hose to empty their Fuel Distribution Systems during a training exercise at Kin Blue Training Area, Okinawa, Japan, July 24, 2019. Marines with 9th Engineer Support Battalion performed a field training exercise to practice and build their basic job skills in a real-world training environment. Utilities Platoon, Engineer Support Company, used Tactical Water Purification Systems and Light-Weight Water Purification Systems with Enhanced Production Modules to purify water before pushing it to Bulk Fuel Company to use as simulated fuel.
