U.S. Army Reserve Capt. Jesse Bullard of the 420th Engineer Brigade out of Bryan, Texas works as a battle captain and coordinates with the 321st Engineer Route Clearance Company for training at Ft. Hood, Texas July 20, 2019. The Medium Mine Protected Vehicles were simulating clearing the route for many other units participating in Exercise Hood Strike. This is only a very small part of this much larger exercise that supports the readiness objectives and working jointly with all U.S. Army Reserve and active-duty components to ensure total interoperability.
