NAVAL STATION GREAT LAKES, Ill. (July 22, 2019) Petty Officer 1st Class Ashley T. Scott, from Maple Heights, Ohio, has a moment of uncertainty during the final game of Monday’s Armed Forces Bowling Championship. Scott later won Monday’s singles competition for the women’s division. The Armed Forces Bowling Championship is underway at Naval Station Great Lakes, Ill., July 18 to July 24. It features a two-day elimination round and a three-day championship series that began with 50 of the military’s top-ranked bowlers pitted in Singles, Doubles, Mixed Doubles, and Team-based competition.
