The Indian navy frigate INS Satpura (F48) is underway with the Ticonderoga-class guided-missile cruiser USS Bunker Hill (CG 52) and the Arleigh Burke-class guided missile destroyer USS Halsey (DDG 97) in formation with other U.S. and Indian navy ships during Exercise Malabar 2012. Malabar is a scheduled naval training exercise conducted to advance multinational maritime relationships and mutual security.
