Keiko, a German shepherd up for adoption, looks into the distance during an adoption event at San Diego, July 20. Keiko has to wear goggles outdoors because she was born with an eye disability that makes her eyes sensitive to sunlight. Marines with the Marine Corps Air Station Miramar Single Marine Program assisted in setting up the event, walking and feeding the dogs, as well as speaking to people who were interested in adopting a German Shephard.
