Sgt. Maj. Mike Lanpolsaen, the outgoing sergeant major of Marine Corps Recruiting Command, receives the National Colors during a relief and appointment ceremony at Marine Corps Base Quantico, Virginia, July 19, 2019. Lanpolsaen relinquished the sword of office to Sgt. Maj. Cortez L. Brown who was appointed as the new sergeant major of Marine Corps Recruiting Command.
