Recovery Leader Bradley Sturm maps grid units while setting up the excavation area during recovery operations in the Gai Lai province of Vietnam. Sturm is a forensic archaeologist assigned to the Joint POW/MIA Accounting Command. The command conducts global search, recovery and laboratory operations to identify unaccounted-for Americans from past conflicts in order to support the Department of Defense's personnel accounting efforts.
