CAMP HUMPHREYS, Republic of Korea – Pvt. 1st Class Jeshua-Christi Pasco checks the blood being collected from his volunteer donor, Spc. Mekimbe Patterson, both medics for 2nd Battalion, 7th Cav. Regt., 3rd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division during a class on field blood transfusions. The process is meant to increase survivability rates of battlefield casualties by providing whole blood transfusions.
