Lt. Col. Jason Toth, commander of the Army Corps of Engineers- Buffalo District, and Joseph Emminger, Tonawanda’s town supervisor, receive an update about the Tonawanda Landfill Vicinity Property’s land remediation July 18 from USACE site and project managers.
USACE began remediation at the Formerly Utilized Sites Remedial Action Program (FUSRAP) Tonawanda Landfill Vicinity Site Property. Groundbreaking began on June 12.
