Marines with Support Company, 9th Engineer Support Battalion, 1st Marine Logistics Group (Forward) use a grader to shape a road outside of Forward Operating Base Geronimo, March 23. After gravel is laid on the road, a grader goes through and levels out the ground. The path is then watered so the compactor can flatten the road as much as possible, creating an improvised asphalt road.
