190718-N-EG940-1028 NORFOLK (July 18, 2019) Hospital Corpsman 2nd Class Bryan Anderson, assigned to Fleet Surgical Team 2 embarked aboard the Wasp-class amphibious assault ship USS Kearsarge (LHD 3), is interviewed by local media as he meets his son for the first time during Kearsarge's homecoming. The Kearsarge Amphibious Ready Group is returning from a regularly scheduled, seven-month deployment in support of maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 5th and 6th Fleet areas of operation.
