Soldiers from the Mobility Support Platoon (MSP) of 38th Engineer Company, 4th Stryker Brigade Combat Team, 2nd Infantry Division kneel atop a Rapidly Emplaced Bridge (REB) and prepare to hook it to a CH-47 Chinook helicopter from Company B, 1st Battalion, 214th Aviation Regiment, during a combined arms exercise Apr. 4 on a training area here. The engineer company became the first fielded unit to sling load and emplace the bridge by air, according to the REB system acquisition manager, Rick Mitchell.
