NAVAL STATION MAYPORT, Fla. (June 27, 2019) Engineman 1st class Terance Brooks, assigned to the Freedom-class littoral combat ship USS Freedom (LCS 1), plays Readiness Control Officer during live-action, interactive virtual-reality training at the Littoral Training Facility, Naval Station Mayport, June 27, 2019. All Sailors assigned to an LCS train in watch stations using virtual-reality technology, and are required to demonstrate proficiency in their respective stations, before manning any live, shipboard watch.
