Larry Veach, a former Marine and a bagpiper of 35 years, plays "Amazing Grace" during the 2nd Battalion, 4th Marine Regiment memorial ceremony here, April 12. The military battle crosses before him are symbolic representations honoring the five fallen Marines who made the ultimate sacrifice for the safety and security of the Afghan people throughout 2/4's recent deployment. The battalion deployed to Helmand province, Afghanistan, in support of Operation Enduring Freedom and returned home last month.
