The 116th Civil Engineer Squadron (CES), from Robins Air Force Base, Ga., joined forces with the Air Force Reserves 452nd CES, from March Air Force Base, Calif., during the real-world construction mission to support the Girl Scouts of Hawaii in building a science, technology, engineering, and math-based, or STEM, learning center at the camp while gaining crucial experience for wartime missions. They were supported by personnel from the 116th ACW’s services, medical, vehicle maintenance, and public affairs units as well as fire fighters from the Pennsylvania Air National Guard’s 171st Air Refueling Wing.
