    Joint Task Force Bravo

    U.S. Army Lt. Col. Manuel Pouparina, Joint Task Force – Bravo Medical Element physician, and Maj. Jorge Chavez, Joint Task Force – Bravo Medical Element preventive medicine nurse, take a tissue sample from a Honduran youth whom contracted Leishmaniasis, during an investigation July 9, 2019, at La Libertad, Honduras. Members of JTF-B were asked by the Honduran Ministry of Health to conduct an investigation into the cause of Leishmaniasis and provide any recommendations that may stop infection.
