Soldiers assigned to Bravo Battery, 5th Battalion, 113th Field Artillery Regiment, embrace family and friends following a yearlong deployment to southwest Asia supporting Operation Spartan Shield and Operation Inherent Resolve, in Raleigh, N.C., July 13, 2019. Bravo Battery's primary mission was to provide artillery fires using the M142 High Mobility Artillery Rocket System in support of Coalition Forces to defeat ISIS successfully and was an integral part of Operation Spartan Shield, supporting regional partners with operational missions, bilateral, multilateral military exercises and theater security cooperation activities in the region.
