The Coast Guard repatriated a group of 14 Dominican migrants to Samaná, Dominican Republic July 13, 2019. A Puerto Rico Police Joint Forces of Rapid Action marine unit interdicted a migrant boat with 16 migrants aboard July 11, 2019 off the coast of Añasco, Puerto Rico. Two migrants from the group are facing federal prosecution in Puerto Rico for attempting to illegally reenter a U.S. territory.
