Work is ongoing at the Rio de La Plata flood control project in Dorado, Puerto Rico. The project will extend the western levee and straighten the existing La Plata River, it will also provide scour protection to the existing Dorado Bridge. Construction will happen in three phases over the next two and a half years. A groundbreaking ceremony for this stage of the project took place last April. July 10, 2019.
