SSgt David Curtis receives an award from Commanding General BGen. Ryan Heritage and (ret.) Gen. Charles C. Krulak, during a period of military instruction (PME) at Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego, July 9. The PME given by General Krulak was to inform senior enlisted and officers about the history of the Crucible and how it was formed into the culminating event of Recruit Training.
