Spanish Col. Carlos Perez Martinez, the off-going base commander, congratulates Spanish Col. D. Perez Martinez was the commander of Moron Air Base since 2017 and worked closely with multiple iterations of Special Purpose Marine Air-Ground Task Force-Crisis Response-Africa, Marine Forces Europe and Africa. SPMAGTF-CR-AF 19.2 is deployed to conduct crisis-response and theater-security operations in Africa and promote regional stability by conducting military-to-military training exercises throughout Europe and Africa.
