Capt. Lakeshia Pride, commander of Headquaters Headquarters Company, National Guard Professional Education Center, received the Meritorious Service Medal for her service as the Medical Administration Officer in Charge, Personnel Division, Army National Guard during a ceremony at Militia Hall, NGPEC on Camp Robinson Maneuver Training Center, North Little Rock, Ark., July 9, 2019.
"Your tireless efforts and unrelenting commitment resulted in the Headquarters Department of the Army granting the Army National Guard authority to publish Title 10 orders for medical care," the award read in part.
Eric Scott, Branch Chief for the Medical Actions Branch, National Guard Bureau, presented the award in front of the Medical Actions Course conference at the National Guard Professional Education Center.
