AZORES, Portugal (July 4, 2019) Capt. Matthew Meilstrup, U.S. Coast Guard Tall Ship Eagle's (WIX 327) commanding officer, greets Brig. Gen. Eduardo Faria, Commander to the Portuguese Air Force Azores, on the ship's fantail before a distinguished visitors luncheon. Eagle is a tall ship used as a training platform for future Coast Guard Academy officers as well as a vessel for establishing and maintaining domestic and international relationships.
