190630-N-NI298-0303 DAVAO CITY, Philippines (June 30, 2019) U.S. and Philippine Sailors stand and salute for both countries’ national anthems during a reception aboard the USS Montgomery (LCS 8). The Montgomery was in Davao City on a regularly schedule port visit. Fast, agile and mission-focused, littoral combat ships are designed to operate in near-shore environments.
