Brig. Gen. Richard Neely, the Adjutant General of the Illinois National Guard, and Illinois National Guard Senior Enlisted Leader Command Sgt. Maj. Dena Ballowe visited troops serving on flood duty on June 26, in East Cape Girardeau, Illinois. The leadership team asked Soldiers how they were doing and if they needed anything else to complete the mission. Neely and Ballowe also took some time to place some sandbags with the troops as well during their visit.
