U.S. Army paratroopers assigned to the 173rd Airborne Brigade, their families, and friends celebrate the brigade through a series of physical and social activities aimed at highlighting our past and strengthening our community during Bayonet Week 2019. Here, Sky Soldiers receive a cooking class on preparing nutritious dishes from ingredients found at the commissary.
Bayonet Week 2019 is an opportunity for the Sky Soldiers of the 173rd Airborne Brigade to test themselves and each other in sports and combat related skills. In partnership with the Healthy Army Communities program, the 173rd Airborne Brigade brought Paratroopers, family members and the community together to build esprit de corps and celebrate their shared unit history. The event runs from June 24 -27 at Caserma Del Din, Vicenza, Italy.
