190624-N-YM543-046 YOKOSUKA, Japan (June 24, 2019) - Electronics Technician 3rd Class Jeffrey Avitabile, from Litchfield, N.H., attached to U.S. 7th Fleet flagship USS Blue Ridge (LCC 19), uses a mock takedown on a simulated attacker during non-lethal weapons training. Blue Ridge is the oldest operational ship in the Navy and, as 7th Fleet command ship, actively works to foster relationships with allies and partners in the Indo-Pacific Region.
