Museum Director John Pentangelo, of the Hampton Roads Naval Museum, greets attendees at the Navy League’s 2019 National Convention President’s Celebration Dinner. Pentangelo and board members of the Hampton Roads Naval Historical Foundation provided some insights to the museum’s operations, educational outreaches, service to the fleet, and their upcoming exhibit which chronicles the US Navy’s role during the Vietnam War. The dinner featured a salute to outgoing National President Alan Kaplan on a successful term and welcomed incoming National President William “Bill” Stevenson.
