Teniente Coronel de Infantería de Marina de Colombia (Colombian Marine Lt. Col.) Eduar Alexander Michaels Bravo, the deputy commander of Special Purpose Marine Air-Ground Task Force – Southern Command, delivers a speech during the opening ceremony of the task force’s 2019 deployment June 21, 2019, at Soto Cano Air Base, Honduras. The ceremony marks the beginning of the SPMAGTF-SC deployment to Latin America and the Caribbean. The task force will conduct training and engineering projects hand-in-hand with partner nation military members in the region during their deployment that coincides with hurricane season.
