Lt. Col. Matthew Strohmeyer, Detachment 24 commander, briefs Air Force Chief of Staff Gen. David L. Goldfein on the establishment of a resilient mesh network and its capabilities, during a visit to Det. 24 June 14, 2019, at Joint Base San Antonio-Randolph, Texas. Det. 24 will utilize Learning Next initiatives to examine how Air Education and Training Command members have historically trained Airmen and then will identify potential solutions to modernize flying and technical training pipelines, and training practices across various communities to produce qualified Airmen in an accelerated, cost efficient and learning-focused manner.
