190614-N-AZ808-1041 SAN DIEGO, Calif. (June 14, 2019) Explosive Ordnance Disposal Training and Evaluation Unit (EODTEU1) conducted a change of command ceremony June 14 on Naval Base Point Loma. Cmdr. David Blauser relieved Cmdr. Alan Beaty as the commanding officer of EODTEU1. EODTEU1 develops and provides rigorous, relevant and realistic training to explosive ordnance disposal and mobile diving and salvage forces to prepare them for safe and successful operations in all environments while assessing new equipment, tactics, techniques and procedures.
